A Few Words About Who we are

At Age Well Care, we hold profound respect for individuals of all ages who require assistance with their activities of daily living (ADLs). We are committed to providing compassionate, reliable in-home caregiving services tailored to each client's unique needs. Our highly trained caregivers create a supportive environment where dignity and independence are paramount, ensuring that every individual we serve feels understood, valued, and empowered to live life fully. Your well-being is our priority, and we strive to bring peace of mind to families through exceptional care and unwavering dedication.
Our Levels of Care Model ensures each client is matched with the right caregiver(s) after a thorough assessment. We aim for consistency by limiting caregiver per client. Care Model 1 provides basic companion care, while Models 2 through 4 offer increasing assistance, ranging from minimal to full, including disease-specific and bed-bound support.

Our caregivers are the heart of our agency, bringing unparalleled compassion and dedication to their work. We deeply value their contributions and ensure proper remuneration and comprehensive benefits to recognize their impact. By prioritizing their well-being, we empower them to deliver exceptional care, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who depend on us.

Ralph Sijl, the founder of Age Well Care, is deeply committed to supporting the community through providing consistent and excellent in-home care solutions to all ages 18 and above. In addition to his professional and community commitments, Ralph enjoys spending quality time with his family and exploring the natural beauty of the Central Coast. Together with his wife and kids he moved from Europe in 2020.


Ralph volunteers with the Central Coast Commission for Senior Citizens. In his role as a board member, he actively contributes to initiatives that enhance the well-being and quality of life for seniors in the region.


Ralph's dedication extends beyond his board seat as he collaborates closely with the Coast Caregiver Resource Center (CCRC), a program from Cottage Health, to ensure comprehensive and compassionate care for the elderly.  The CCRC through its partners such as Age Well Care provides Respite Care and more.


CCRC serves as the entry point to local supportive services for nonpaid family members, ages 18 and older, who are caring for adults with adult-onset brain impairments and older adults with disabling conditions. Covering Santa Barbara, Ventura, and San Luis Obispo counties, CCRC offers services regardless of income, with most services being free or provided at low cost to family caregivers.
